Focus on Europe
The industry association European Bioplastics represents the interests of its member companies in Europe in the field of bioplastics and biodegradable plastics. To this end, European Bioplastics will focus and promote its activities at European and national level. Many Association members have their head office here, and they are undertaking activities in the production and marketing of bioplastics and biodegradable plastics. Furthermore, the Association operates a global information exchange network. This is not only because some of its members come from countries such as Asia, Australia and the USA. Bioplastics have already become a topic of global economic interest. Private enterprise, and to some extent governments, in numerous countries outside of Europe are actively pursuing the development of bioplastics.
