Membership
The European Bioplastics association represents all types of companies, which are active in the bioplastics' value chain - from the cradle to the grave. We represent compostable polymer products with approved compostability according to EN13432 criteria, and bio-based (non-biodegradable) polymer products. Companies, which are actively involved in the bioplastics business, should consider membership. It is also of interest to newcomers seeking orientation and access to this important future technology. Through our activities we promote market development and reduce risk.

- Exclusive transfer of information:
Members of European Bioplastics receive exclusively prepared information and have access to a knowledge base restricted to members only. Our reports cover all relevant topics, with particular emphasis on future developments concerning framework conditions, support and financial programs, market opportunities etc. - Inquiries concerning products and services:
Inquiries from third parties to European Bioplastics will be forwarded directly to members via email. - Public relations and press activities:
European Bioplastics actively communicates information from and concerning its members and thereby creates an additional communicative platform. We publish information about product highlights and market development in specialist publications. We exhibit products at trade fairs and events. Furthermore, we generate contacts to agencies who are interested in press coverage or product presentation. - Opportunities for involvement:
All members have the opportunity to be involved in the activities of the Association at the General Assembly (held at least twice per year). Comments and information from members will however be actioned at any time and implemented following a vote by the Board.Members can use our regular meetings to exchange information with leading representatives from the bioplastics industry.
- Consulting:
European Bioplastics promotes the exchange of information between members and with other interested parties. We are able to provide you with individual advice on a variety of topics based on our experience. Members are also able to access our extensive contacts to the bioplastics industry and related areas to assist in business matching or projects. - Events and trade fairs:
European Bioplastics organises events, industry conferences and joint exchibitions at trade fairs which enable members to showcase their company and products. You will find examples of these activities here (LINK). Members are eligible for a reduction in rates at fee-paying events.
