SIBUR is the largest integrated petrochemicals company in Russia and one of the fastest-growing companies in the global petrochemicals industry. The Group sells its petrochemical products on the Russian and international markets in two business segments: Olefins & Polyolefins (polypropylene, polyethylene, BOPP films, etc.) & Plastics, Elastomers & Intermediates (synthetic rubbers, EPS, PET, etc.).
SIBUR has strong position in the traditional polymer market, as well as the infrastructure for promoting and selling bio-polymer products.
According to its Sustainability Strategy 2025, SIBUR is planning to increase investment in R&D projects aimed at processing plastic waste and involving renewable sources of raw materials by 50%.
SIBUR draws attention to technologies that make it possible to achieve a more sustainable economy based on bio-based and biodegradable products.
