Dear Members,

The upcoming Members Meeting will take place on Tuesday, 07 December 2021.

We will start at 10 a.m. and finish around noon. As the previous meeting this spring, the meeting will again be virtual.

Due to a recent change in the Board – Paolo La Scola has left his delegating company Novamont and, therefore, according to the statutes of European Bioplastics, had to step down as Member of the Board with immediate effect – an extraordinary Board election will be added to the agenda of the upcoming Members Meeting.

The statutes of European Bioplastics foresee that a replacement is to be elected for the remainder of the predecessor’s term of office at the following General Assembly.

Henk Vooijs from Novamont has already stepped forward and has indicated he would like to be elected as Board Member to proceed Paolo. The Board agrees he is a good candidate.

If other members are interested to serve as Board Member for the remainder of the existing term (spring of 2022), these members are invited to send in an application, accompanied by a motivation letter and resume. This application should be received by European Bioplastics before 16 November 2021. During the Members Meeting on 7 December 2021, a new Board Member will be elected.
