EBC25 - Call for Entries: European Bioplastics Innovation Award 2025

Dear Sir or Madam,

European Bioplastics is proud to announce the Bioplastics Innovation Award 2025 to recognise and celebrate outstanding contributions to the advancement of sustainable bioplastics.

As we mark the 20th anniversary of the European Bioplastics Conference (EBC25), we are excited to bring this award back to the spotlight. The winner will be chosen by live audience vote during the conference, held on 2–3 December 2025 in Berlin and online.

We invite companies, start-ups, research institutions, and innovators to submit their most promising bioplastic products, materials, or solutions.

Award Focus Areas:

Submissions should fall under one of the following themes:

• Material Innovation
• Product Design & Application
• Sustainability & Circularity
• Market Readiness / Scale-Up

We’re looking for real-world solutions that demonstrate the potential of bioplastics to create a more circular and climate-friendly future.

How to Apply:

Please complete the short application form and include:

• General project & contact information
• Description of your innovation (max. 300 words per question)
• Technical details (e.g. material, end-of-life options)
• Supporting materials (images, certificates, logo, etc.)

Deadline: 30 August 2025

The top 5 finalists will be selected by our team of experts and invited to pitch live at EBC25.
The audience will vote to determine the final winner.
