Board Election - Call for Candidacy

Dear Members,

Our spring Members Meeting will take place on 23 June 2022 in Brussels and is planned as an in-person event only to implement the Board Election. We therefore ask you to register by 02 June 2022 at the latest by filling out the registration form, if not already done.

Enclosed, please find the Call for Candidacies for the Board Election as well as an informational note as to the rules and procedures of the Board Election.

Combined with our Members Meeting, we are also inviting you to our EUBP Meetup on 22 June 2022 in Brussels. This gives you the chance to save on travels and attend two events in one business trip. Please also register for the networking event here. Don’t miss the chance to connect with bioplastic stakeholders from science, brands and policy. We would be delighted to meet and have a chat with you.

As Keynote speaker we were able to engage Emmanuelle Maire (Head of Unit, Circular Economy, Sustainable Production & Consumption, DG ENV) who will inform us on “The EU Commission’s proposal for ecodesign for sustainable product regulation”.

Both events will take place at the Representation of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (Rue Montoyer 47, 1000 Brussels).
