Throughout March, people and organisations are organising local climate activities as part of the  Climate Action Days, powered by the ECP. These activities will take place across Europe, around the Pact’s Together in Action 2026 event.

From workshops and school projects to clean-ups, creative actions and online events, Climate Action Days will engage communities in climate action and show how local action can inspire change across Europe.

As part of Climate Action Days, European Bioplastics is organising EUBP Talk #1: Bioplastics Beyond Packaging – Focus on Construction, an online webinar, on 18 March 2026, 10:00 – 11:00 h CET.

Join us to explore how bio-based materials can contribute to the decarbonisation of the construction sector and discover innovative applications of bioplastics beyond packaging. Together with experts from research and industry, we will discuss how bioplastics can support more sustainable building solutions and help advance the transition towards a circular and climate-neutral built environment.

This session will explore:

• Performance and durability considerations
• Practical insights from research and industry
• The future role of bioplastics in sustainable building design

The one-hour webinar features two expert presentations followed by a Q&A session with the audience.
