On 11 December 2019, the European Commission (EC) published the long-awaited Communication on the European Green Deal, which highlights the new EU leadership’s climate and sustainability ambitions. Amongst others, the Commission foresees the adaption of a new Industrial Strategy closely linked to a new Circular Economy Action Plan (CEAP).

There is no doubt: we use too much plastic, and the plastic waste, which is littered in the environment, on land, or in the seas, has a negative impact on nature and all living beings. 7th International Seminar on Biopolymers and Sustainable Composites

AIMPLAS will hold the seventh edition of its International Seminar on Biopolymers and Sustainable Composites on 4 and 5 March 2020. This seminar is aimed at raw material suppliers, processing companies, machinery manufacturers, end users, companies in plastic waste management and treatment, public administrations (regarding environmental policies), research centres, universities and public research bodies.

 
 
 
 
 

News and updates for EUBP members

New Members: We are happy to welcome United Bioplymers S.A. and Tetra Pak as new EUBP members. We will publish additional information about them in our Members Area on our website.

EUBP Staff: Our dear colleague, Kristy Lange, after almost 10 years on duty, will leave EUBP on 15 March 2020. Having started in communications, she later became the responsible regulatory affairs expert. Since more than 4 years, she is also been serving as EUBP’s Deputy Managing Director. As Kristy will continue to work towards achieving a circular economy in her new position, we won’t loose her completely.

We, the whole EUBP team, want to say Good Bye and also thank you for the great time we had together. Rest assured, we will not only miss your valuable input and guidance on the professional level, but also Kristy, the private person. Have a very good start at your new job, Your EUBP team.
