Opportunity to join the Advisory Panel for EBC26
Dear Members, We are re-launching the call for applications to join the Advisory Panel of the European Bioplastics Conference 2026 (EBC26). The Advisory Panel will bring together a small group of senior experts from industry, research and academia to support the development of a high-quality, balanced and forward-looking conference programme. Updated participation frameworkParticipation in the Advisory Panel does not exclude your organisation from obtaining a speaking slot at EBC26. Advisory Panel members themselves should not act as speakers and must abstain from evaluating their own company’s abstract(s). Key responsibilitiesDefining and refining conference topics Reviewing and evaluating abstract submissions Providing structured feedback and ratings Working closely with the EUBP team while maintaining independent judgement
Timeline:24 March 2026: EBC26 Advisory Panel completed 24 - 27 March 2026: First Advisory Panel meeting (online) 30 March 2026: Topics for EBC26 programme defined 06 July – 02 August 2026: Abstract review phase (approx. 100–150 submissions; the EUBP team will provide an initial rating) 03 - 07 August 2026: Second Advisory Panel meeting (abstract discussion) 17 - 21 August 2026: Third Advisory Panel meeting (first draft programme) 31 August - 04 September 2026: Fourth Advisory Panel meeting (final programme discussion) Before 18 September 2026: Publication of first programme
