We are pleased to share with you the Call for Papers for the 14th European Bioplastics Conference, taking place on 3/4 December 2019 at the Titanic Chaussee Hotel in Berlin, Germany. This year’s European Bioplastics Conference will focus on advancements in the bioplastics sector, opportunities for growth and innovation, as well as on environmental aspects. Experts are invited to submit their proposals for a presentation on the following topics: - Bio-based and/or biodegradable polymers and plastics – latest material and process innovations
- Packaging innovations, especially food contact solutions
- Additives for bio-based and biodegradable plastics
- Mechanical, organic, chemical, and enzymatic recycling of bioplastics
- Sustainability assessment of bioplastics (including LCA)
- New durable and biodegradable applications introduced in 2019
- Sneak preview 2020 – product and material pre-launch
- Bioplastics policy and market developments
- The viability and availability of bio-based feedstocks for bioplastics
- New multi-use bio-based products
- Biodegradability of polymers and plastics outside of managed waste streams
If you would like to contribute to the programme, please download the abstract template, complete the form, and send it back to us on conference@european-bioplastics.org. As every year, we will only be able to select a small percentage of the submissions we receive for the final programme. Therefore, kindly provide us with as much detail as possible.
