Every year, the European Bioplastics Conference features a well-rounded conference programme attracting senior executives from across the bioplastics value chain, policy bodies, NGOs, and brand owners. Exciting additions to the programme include:

Jean-François Briois from Nestlé together with Françoise Poulat from Danone will give a motivational talk presenting their alliance committed to develop 100% bio-based PET.

Elena Schmidt, Standards Director at Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials (RSB) will present RSB’s most recent developments in their certification standard for producers of bio-based products and operators of bio-based processes, helping to identify and manage sustainability issues across the value chain.

Sandeep Kulkarni, Senior Principal Scientist at PepsiCo Global R&D (USA) will give first-hand insights into the company’s latest commitment to the research and development for the use of bioplastics in their snack packaging.

Justin Zeulner, Executive Director of the Green Sports Alliance (USA) will give an update on the exemplary work of the Alliance that leverages the huge cultural reach and market influence of sports to promote the benefits of bioplastics in the USA and beyond.
