Biopolymer Days 2020
During the past years, crucial legislative changes had been conducted in the field of plastics manufacturing and processing, which included significant provisions for the entire plastics industry. Europe has assumed an international lead role in fostering economic efficiency and sustainability in an efficient symbiosis. Bioplastics serve as an important element in all EU strategies. This is due to their bio-based foundation and biodegradability. The DACH region, as the economically strongest region in Europe plays an important role in implementing those strategies.
In order to discuss latest developments and innovations in the bioplastics industry of the DACH region, ecoplus organized the Biopolymer Days, which are taking place on 17/18 June in Sankt Pölten, Austria. The programme will include sessions on bio-refineries and bioeconomy, the production of bio-based polymers, material properties and compounds, mechanical and organic recycling as well as product solutions and products made from bioplastics.
