5 December 2022 - 3:30 pm – 6:00 pm (99€ excl. VAT)
This workshop precedes the 17th European Bioplastics Conference and aims to set up a dialogue with the Organics Recycling Industry and policy makers to understand where and how compostable materials can contribute to a circular economy. Presentations from three leading compost experts on their experiences in processing compostable materials will be followed by a panel discussion and a brainstorming session. The workshop will be hosted by BASF, Natureworks, Novamont and Futamura.

In the past 36 months, the experts of the EU-funded project BIOnTop have found ways to develop new bio-copolymers, biocomposites and coating formulations for packaging of food, fruits and personal care products, as well as innovative textiles. Interested in getting to know more about this innovative packaging? Meet our expert, Dr. Corina Reichert (Hochschule Albstadt-Sigmaringen) for breakfast. Get the chance to learn about the recent achievements in BIOnTop in the field of biopolymer coatings and ask your questions about future developments.
