Bioplastics Recycling Cluster
Spanning from September 2025 to March 2026, the Bioplastics Recycling Cluster Talk series focuses on How to set up cost-competitive sorting and recycling schemes for bioplastics? The talks are short, peer-to-peer, scientific talks featuring experts from three research and innovation projects funded by the CBE Joint Undertaking: ReBioCycle, MoeBIOS and PROSPER.
The talks focus on the following topics:
- Collecting and sorting of bioplastics (NIR and AI and Digital tools, models)
- Recycling approaches for bioplastics (e.g., mechanical, chemical, thermochemical, microbial, enzymatic)
- Regulations and norms for the recycling of bioplastics
- Certification and labelling
Who are these talks for?
Fellow researchers, from the public and private sector.
Format:
- Online event.
- Time: Always 12:00-12:45 pm CET.
- Each talk consists of a 30-minutes presentation, followed by a 15-minute Q&A with the participants.
- The talks are moderated by European Bioplastics.
- The talks will be recorded. The Q&As will not be.
