Circular, Sustainable & Biobased Coatings: How to Apply the SSbD Framework

European Bioplastics is organising a half-day webinar in the framework of the BIO4COAT project. The webinar will explore how the Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) framework is being applied in the development of circular, sustainable and biobased coatings. With contributions from leading EU-funded projects, such as BIO4COAT, TORNADO, IRISS and BIO-SUSHY, this webinar will share tools, methodologies, and case studies from across the innovation ecosystem.

Register here.

Aim of the event

  • Exchange practical insights and experiences on implementing SSbD principles in the design and development of circular, sustainable and biobased coatings, while showcasing EU-projects’ outputs.
  • Facilitating dialogue across the SSbD innovation landscape.
  • Gather interest in the set-up of a Cluster of projects and initiatives working on circular, sustainable and biobased coatings. The cluster will be established and facilitated by European Bioplastics.

For whom?

Industry and research representatives working on biobased coatings and interested in learning more about the application of the safe-and-sustainable-by-design framework to coatings.

Format

  • Online webinar
  • 20-minute presentations from each project
  • Q&As with the audience
  • Event recording and presentations will be shared afterwards in Zenodo and on BIO4COAT social media
