The Renewable Materials Conference has become the international meeting place for the chemical, plastics, and materials industries and will take place from 22 to 24 September 2025 in Siegburg, near Cologne. The conference, expected to attract over 500 participants, will present new solutions and current innovations to replace fossil carbon with biomass, CO₂ utilisation, and recycling. The globally unique event covers the entire value chain from alternative carbon feedstocks to the chemical industry, the materials sector, product manufacturers and brand owners, and is also aimed at investors and policymakers. The last conference in June 2025 drew more than 400 people from 29 countries, 90% of whom came from industry.

The workshop is organised within the framework of the MoeBIOS, ReBioCycle, GRECO and Be-UP projects and funded by the European Union and the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking.
