Siegburg/Cologne, (and online), 22 to 24 September
The international meeting place for the chemical, plastics and materials industry will take place from 22 to 24 September 2025 in Siegburg near Cologne. The conference, which is expected to attract over 500 participants, will present new solutions and current innovations to replace fossil carbon with biomass, CO₂ utilisation and recycling.
This year, top speakers from industry, science and politics will spend three days presenting the latest fossil-free technologies, innovations, political implications, markets and investments to an international audience of experts in lectures, panel discussions and workshops. Companies, associations and institutes are invited to organise their own workshops and take part in the exhibition – early registration is recommended as only a limited number of stands are available.
European Bioplastics is organising a workshop at the conference with the support of the MoeBIOS, ReBioCycle and Be-UP projects on 24 September 2026, from 11:20- 12:50 "Rethink the circularity of your products! From Biodegradability to Recyclability: Innovators prove you can have both". Sign up for this event. We have secured Jan Pels (TORWASH), Kees Joziasse (TotalEnergies Corbion) and Steven Verstichen (Normec OWS) as speakers.
The globally unique event covers the entire value chain from alternative carbon feedstocks to the chemical industry, the materials sector, product manufacturers and brand owners, and is also aimed at investors and policymakers. The last conference in June 2025 was attended by more than 400 people from 29
countries, 90% of whom came from industry.
