- Founded in 2014, Lactips is the pioneer in natural polymers based on proteins.
- Lactips manufactures CareTips®, a natural polymer made from proteins and bio-sourced blends with proteins. 100% bio-sourced, fully biodegradable in all environments and water-soluble without leaving any microplastics are the added-value of their material.
- Lactips supplies a natural plastic alternative, innovative material for the plastics industry. Processable like any plastic, Lactips has commercialised its technology in markets such as film, labels, paper flexible packaging and injected parts for agriculture and outdoor sports.
- CareTips® offers an eco-friendly and functional solution capable of responding to today’s environmental, economic, and industrial challenges. Lactips material can limit pollutant plastics, reduce microplastics and be easily incorporated into production processes.
- Lactips now has more than 50 employees at its new production site with a capacity of 1,500 tonnes per year. Lactips, a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact, is also one of the 20 leaders of the French Tech Green20 programme, has been awarded the GreenTech Innovation label and is one of the first companies to have received the “1000 Efficient Solutions” label from the Solar Impulse Foundation.
