The 2025 edition of the leading business and networking event for the bioplastics industry in Europe will showcase how biopolymers are driving innovation forward for sustainability, resource efficiency, and functionality. We will dive into a wide range of important areas in this year’s sessions including:
- The Policy Landscape: Bioplastics Regulation in Transition
- European Bioeconomy: Driving competitiveness through sustainable resources
- Market Pulse & Industry Update: Global Trends and Insights
- Mass Balance: Opportunities and Challenges
- Biodegradability: Unlocking market opportunities
- Biobased Solutions: From Sourcing to Sustainability
- Recycling & Recyclability: Rethinking Bioplastics’ End-of-Life
- Compostables in Action: Challenges and Pathways
- High-Performance Bioplastics: Technical Innovations and Applications
EBC25 will begin with an in-depth look at the Policy Landscape, setting the context for discussions to follow. The programme will highlight developments in the European bioeconomy, including new production capacities, strategic expansions, and insights from global bio-markets such as India, Australia, and China. Finalists of the European Bioplastics Innovation Award will also pitch their breakthrough innovations.
Day 2 will focus on recycling and circular solutions, showcasing pioneering innovations and applications, and concluding with a session on bioplastic yarns and related technologies.
The hybrid format will allow you to either join in person at the Titanic Hotel Chausseestraße Berlin, or log in online. Secure your delegate pass today!
We will also offer a free side event on 01 December from 17:00 until 19:00 CET on Bioplastic Packaging Design: Safe, Sustainable and Recyclable in collaboration with EU-funded projects in research and innovation to share insights into the latest R&I results and explore opportunities for scaling them up.
Another highlight of EBC25 is the exhibition, on-site and online, which is dedicated exclusively to bioplastics. It is the ideal platform for your company to showcase your products and services, increase brand awareness, and connect with new partners. Secure your booth here.
Would you like to have even more visibility? We offer various types of sponsorship that will give your company the right stage to be in the spotlight. Find out more about our options and get in touch with our Head of Events, Denise Valdix, who will be happy to discuss the best options for you.
